Concerts : Alpine Valley

Just less than 5 minutes from us, Alpine Valley Music Theatre is a 37,000 capacity amphitheater on County Highway D in East Troy, Wisconsin., One of the top 10 outdoor music venues in the country according to Rolling Stone magazine.

Wineries and Orchards

The Apple Barn has orchards for picking fruit as well as an award winning winery — W6384 Sugar Creek Road, Elkhorn 262-728-3266:

Quednow’s Heirloom Apple Orchard is a wonderful family owned orchard with over 100 varieties of heirloom apples. They also sell cider and if you are lucky cider donuts and apple pie (yum!).

Staller’s is an award winning winery: They periodically pair their wines with special dinners at the Black Sheep Restaurant and posts the schedule on their website.608-883-2100

County Fair/Antique Flea Market

So come on out for a real antiquing experience any time of year. No cyberspace here! Get a good look at what you want. Talk More than 500 dealers with antiques and Ponder a decision over some great food. And go home happy!

County Fair, One of the oldest fairs in the state of Wisconsin, the Walworth County Fair was established in 1849. Livestock judging, exhibits, carnival rides, concessions, harness racing, tractor and truck pulls, demolition derby, and free grandstand shows.

Hiking, Biking, Cross Country Skiing:
We are less than a 10 minute drive from the Kettle Moraine State Park where you can hike, bike, and cross country ski, depending on the season. There are also various races from relatively short to ridiculously long (100 miles!) held at different points in the year in the state park.
